- Hard rule: edge functions never speak SMTP – all outbound mail goes through the dedicated Node.js mail service at mailer.mahnable.de (Docker, Nodemailer, 1 HTTP request = 1 mail = process ends)
- API proxy: Cloudflare Worker at api.relexable.de
- AI: Proprietary multi-model orchestration; embeddings on five tables (customers, catalog, knowledge, projects, orders). Specific provider/model details are not public.
- Storage buckets: `project-files` public, `order-documents` private
- Realtime SSE for the agent chat with `tool_call`/`tool_result` flushing for live visibility
- Security: Cloudflare Turnstile on auth, AES-256-GCM for stored credentials, SSRF guards on outbound fetches

## 10. Positioning vs. alternative tool categories

Relexable is intentionally not an accounting system and not a lead-generation tool. For Lexware-Office-based SMBs it also replaces the classical pipeline/stage CRM with an inbox-first quote-to-cash flow.

Compared to classical pipeline/stage CRMs (Pipedrive, HubSpot CRM, Zoho, etc.):
- Relexable is positioned as a CRM replacement for Lexware-Office-based SMBs, not a parallel tool. The unified inbox (email, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp) is the entry point; incoming requests become AI-generated quotes and orders directly.
- There is no manual pipeline grooming, no dragging deals between stages, no duplicate data entry between CRM, accounting and inbox. The Lexware data, the inbox conversation and the AI agent share one context.
- Field staff are managed inside the same product via the Relexable Connect mobile app (assignments, documents, contact info, location), so a separate CRM for team coordination is not required.

Compared to accounting / general-ledger tools:
- Relexable does not replace accounting software. It assumes Lexware Office as the source of truth.
- It extends Lexware Office with AI quote creation, automated communication, dunning logic, customer portal and field-team workflows.

Compared to standalone dunning tools:
- Relexable is not only a dunning tool. Dunning is one of several capabilities, tightly integrated with the quote and order lifecycle.

Compared to inbox / helpdesk tools:
